    Metal eagle for visor cap

Metal eagle for visor cap, is this correct? Are the eagle for the donald duck cap smaller?
I would like to sell it, so what is a normal price for that?

And please let me know your opinions about originality. I have no problem with it, but an interessted user want to be sure.
    thanks!

      Kriegsmarine cap eagle

Very detailed front, thus first opinion is good, but I am worried about the edge at the back, it seems thin and sharp and the edge (rim) on the lower half of the wreath is missing or almost not existing

let's hear what others think about these remarks

I haven't studied metal cap eagles extensively but I'm not aware of high-end fakes of such a common item? Like glaser says, the obverse is nicely detailed, esp. the stippling inside the wreath, so I suspect it's fine.

        Perhaps Jean-Claude can comment.

        Best regards,
        ---Norm

            Thanks Norm

I like this eagle too but then again I must say I am "a bit" biaized because I've had the same identical eagle since the earky 70's from a local vet pick up . IMO its a nice early gilded brass specimen (usually thinner than aluminum, cupal or zink specimens) with beautiful detail & finish but since the picts are at an angle perspective plays its usual tricks...

Mine doesnt have as nice a finish (particularly on front where it is toned) and the pictures are old & fuzzy but you can still make out its definitely the same exact bird down to breast/neck feathering, wreath laurel leaves & even the little die flaw (a tiny lump) in the upper wing crescent corner of the right wing

So a very nice original bird for me
