The seller claims this gorget is listed in the book "Ringkragen Und Brustschilder im Dritten Reich"?
IMO not good!

I only know the marine kusten polizei. IMO a fantasy piece.
Aging similar to this SS.

This type of KM "locally" made gorget does exist .
One was found years ago in the Bretagne for example, directly from private ?
Pictures do exist with some variations of KM Gorgets , not only the Küstenpolzei
is existing .
Made of a heavy plate of brass , not a light alloy like the SS Streifendienst presented ...

I know diddly sqwat about gorgets but I am a bit familiar with summer uniform eagles and, assuming the size is the same, the eagle on this gorget is at least "very remiscent" of this "A" (Assmann) marked copy that you can get from a variety of sources...

Doesnt give me a warm & fuzzy feeling...

I'm not a Pics Source and i usually not keep the pictures or a copy of it as many do on this Forum ,having sometimes more fun having pictures of the item
than the real item ?
I just said i've seen pictures of some other types of KM Gorgets in wear than the simple classical Küstenpolizei one ? Including locally made ones ...like this one ?
