So you asked the police expert that has never seen a WSP uniform or even handled or studied one, and would not know a Kriegsmarine uniform if it bit them in the ass. (No offence meant Bill). You show stitch marks were the eagle has supposed to have been, but there is no fading of material around the eagle marks, why? if this was a used jacket there would be differing colours where the eagle once was.

As for the cap you posted, no manufacturers Logos, or celluloid, no insignia, loose band around the cap, and a brand new sweat band, no wonder you got no replies on that one.

How do you know what I have or haven't seen and/or studied? I have been collecting since before you were born (1968). I provided the OP with reference materials, and offered my opinion, that's all. Why do you feel that you have to make it a personal attack on me? Shame on you.

No I don't own one. Regular police forum members George W has one that I know of and Joe W had one that he recently sold. Personally I have owned caps and insignia but never owned a tunic. Contrary to my perpetual detractor though, I have seen them in the past, but they were out of my league as far as purchase price was concerned.
