Kriegsmarine watch- original
Hello,
My friend was recently shown this watch and was unsure what exactly it was, and if it was a genuine wartime example with original markings.
The case has the eagle with the marking "M8958", interior of the case has several markings as well- unfortunately the photos are quite poor and I am unable to make out any of the inner markings. I am always suspicious of watches/binoculars/gear marked with eagles as I know many were simply added to items much later.
If anyone could help in anyway I would be grateful. Thanks!
