Accessories for a white sailor cap...

Few years ago I bought a Kriegsmarine lot including a summer uniform and this little white bag. Inside there were 3 cover (top) for a summer cap (one is now mounted on a cap) and some metal circles. The metal circle was used inside the cap? And why?Would you say something about originality of the white top ? What value could it have?
    Thanks

Thanks Nick! But in vintage photos the cap appears flush, it not appear with this metal circle. perhaps poorly used?

      About it's value?

      Thanks

As with the visor caps, a metal ring, sopme times made in wooden, was placed inside the edge of the top as reinforcement, but this was usually removed by the owner to give the cap a more casual appearance.

Utensils, not for the cap, but this sailor could decided to save inside the Teller accesories, or they were put there after war to store

                Hi,
                thanks for info Km-Spain.
Now I would like to show you rest of original lot:

The pants (in the BAK stamp I read the date 23.5.38 that corresponds to the serial number of the sailor (red embroidery).

                Mark on jacket:

Is there a web site where can I search about the name (or number) of this sailor?

                Thanks in advanced

Interesting, the maker of the trousers is the same of the usual found in the KA moleskin jackets, that also are usually marked with the B.year stamp, not seen on other KM garmets.

                  Nice lot

The metal ring is called a grommet. A typical peaked cap has a spring stiffening, often in the form of a wire grommet frame, to ensure insignia is properly displayed.

Very rarely can you find one for a sailor cap, but they do exist.

In this example, a MHJ cap, there is a grommet inside the blue top.
