KM medical board..need input..

    Hi christian amd many thanks for the comment.

    Well, I am aware of the regulations that ergänzungs-offiziere should have black underlay - I posted just such boards in post 14.

    But the problem is, that the board that started this thread has a black bottum and a konrnblumenblau waffenfarbe. The construction looks very much KM as both Eduardo and agree upon, but I never read anywhere that the Kriegsmarine used this type of boards.!!
    This type was used by LW, WH and the Waffen-SS. But by the KM..?..I have no idea..

    Eduardo is very right. And here your info:

    MDv260, Issue 1935, Instruction for cloth and dresses, enclosure 1, is describing exactly what Eduardo has said. All supplementary officers except admirals - have to wear shoulder boards with a black underlay, including those for white jacket.

    As for the arm insignia, it is described as "surrounded by an endless rope"....as shown in the pics in the other thread.
