the bridle on this epaulet is fixed to the epaulet and not to the greatcoat and it had a different pattern, any comments?

IMO not period, should boards should be of the "T" model, the strap should be in silver and stitched to the frock coat shoulder

Thx Eduardo, this came out of an large estate with all genuine items of a Kriegsmarine Officer, so would be strange if it was fake, but I wasn't 100 % sure either. I look forward to other opinions or pictures of it in wear in KM or other navies?
