    Tribute to the Capital ships

Wanted to share this grouping. I am about to finish another grouping as a tribute to the Capital ships of the Spanish Civil war. If anyone knows where I can find a Deutschland or Gneisenau cap tally, please do let me know.

The PanzerKreuzer tally is indeed a rare one. This classification didn't last too long and it was determined to classify as just Panzerschiff. Very nice display. I am curious about your white flag pin with EK? Is this a stick pin? I haven't seen anything else like it.
I will keep you in mind when I see a Deutschland or Gneisenau tally available.

      Hi Justin,
What year were these ships referred to as Panzerkruezers. The flag is a pin back. It resembles a flagship patch. Only seen one other in pinback. When I redo the frame, I will post pictures of the reverse.

                  Hi Terrence.
Here is a discussion about the Panzerkreuzer vs Panzerschiff classification. Many of us still believe that this classification was made probably while the ship was being outfitted and that by the time of Commission, that it had it's designation officially changed from Panzerkreuzer to Panzerschiff.

                  Best Regards,
                  JustinG
