It's hard to find substantive discussions on specific variants, but for what it's worth, here's the same type of Bevo-style cap eagle as in post #3 that was posted in the Heer section in the company of several fake insignia which inspired negative comments.

Looks like the same type but in blue and part of a roll.

Here's the same type posted by Fred Green in 2014 at which point it was described as debatable. I don't know if any new information has emerged, but hopefully others will comment.
