Kriegsmarine Wash Bowl Barracks

Hi all!

Just got these aluminium wash bowl from the Kriegsmarine/German Navy
standing in the room of the barracks or on the battle ships.

Saved before scrapping.





You can see the stamps: "Ritter Aluminium" and "Eagle with M"

I have my doubts what the eagle concern

Why? It's an eagle stamp of the Kriegsmarine.
Eagle with a M under the feets ;-)

There is a thread here in the KM section by member glaser showing a lot of such items all stamped postwar with KM markings.
Personally I do not like the stamp you are showing.

I don't like the eagle/M either, or what is left of it, strange that just the eagle seems to be used and not the Ritter markings above isn't it???

As I told Glaser by PN, I think the stampt must be real because I´ve bought it from a guy for only freight cost (so he don´t want to make profit) and the guy has found it by a farmer used as flowerpot.

But If it´s not real it would be no matter. Was really really cheap
