In June of this year, a clock claiming to be from the Battleship Tirpitz sold in a UK auction for £2500. Here's the auction description:

TIRPITZ CLOCK, WORLD WAR II GERMAN BATTLESHIP, A BRASS CASED SHIPS CLOCK The silvered dial engraved with a Nazi eagle, above the letter 'M' and number '4420, N', taken by Seaman, John Cusack, as a member of Looting Party No 1, along with a photograph of the Looting Party standing alongside the upturned hull of the Tipitz and a letter of provenance from the Cusack Family. (d 17cm x depth 9.5cm)
Well, I was watching a TV programme recently called "Sarah Beeny's Four Rooms". It's where members of the public take along their antiques and collectables and pitch them to dealers to try and get the best price.
Apparently, the next episode due to air tomorrow evening will feature a clock from Tirpitz.
Is it the same one? if it is, why is it being sold on so soon? how much will the dealers offer?
I'm curious to find out!
