picked up a pair of blc 7x50 no 55211. paint work was in need of a new paint job. Had to remove all of the original rubber armour. On the bottom right of the binoculars was etched in tiny letters the name ( JC LARISSON ) U396. don't think this was post war etched or scratched would be a better description. the number 6 pinged off under my nail . Can not find this crew member ? any help please Paul.
