Hi Alex,

I agree with Ludwig: original summer uniform bird in silver. Maker is unknown (to me) but its a fairly common variation which exists in gold and silver. The hardware and crude/ruff welding are typical for this type so it hasnt been messed with. I attached a picture of my set for you to compare

Please note that silver eagles were used by both KM beamte and army officers but the regular navy wore gold birds on their summer uniforms
