Value of two KM Coastal Artillery Tunics?

Hi all,

I`m thinking of scaling down the KM part of my collection and would like to get an estimate on the value of two KM Coastal Artillery Tunics that I got.

First of is a nice M40 tunic where the collar tabs is original sewn to the tunic. The eagle is an original replacement of french origin that has been sewn with original tread by me.

And second is a nice M42 tunic where the collar tabs and eagle is original sewn to the tunic. The tunic has probably never been used but when I got it there was missing one button in the front and one the left shoulder. I have replaced these with original buttons but they do not match in colour as they are a bit more shinier.

So what would be a fair price for these two tunics in 2016?

The collectors guild has one similar asking for $1548.00
Although it has been sitting there for some time.

Thank you for your reply JustinG. I did a search and found another tunic for sale from Ardennes44 http://www.ardennes44.com/en/items/u...ice-blouse.htm

Both the tunic from The collectors guild and Ardennes44 looks to be M40 with replaced eagle similar to my M40 tunic. The tunic from Ardennes44 is priced to €1650 but I do not know how long it has been up for sale.

The price difference once changed to like currencies is almost $200 difference between the two storefronts.
Your tunics appear to be nice, with only the fronts shown, we don't see laundry marks, the reverse, the stitching underneath, and the other details that would need to be seen and appreciated.


I personally want to bring your attention to this listed on WAF now. This is of course a different tunic and belongs to the Medical Heer. But the eagle is officer, the tabs are officer, There is a loop hole for an award like an EK1 or a Wound badge. It has a WMC ribbon through the jacket and it is going for a reduced price of 580Euro with no offers yet for this great jacket.

Just some more information for you to ponder and take into consideration.
