Never seen something like this before, or in use on a period picture, any around? To be honest not very comfortable with the KM property stamp.

Agree that looks period, but KM?

IMO this is not a full weather dress, seems to be used with some kind of gas mask?, headphones?, ... as you say any kind of chemical protection garment?

Agree being period, stitching, material, manufacturer, but as said by the experts, is it KM?
The point is to find out period pictures that proove the use of it.
I guess was not for gas mask, but most likely for Headphones or ears protector.
The big size of the head seems also to allow the use over helmet, possible?
It's a mistery object for now.
