I picked this chevron up a few weeks ago with some good SS cloth but the guys on the SS forum seemed to think it was for another branch of the service? Could it be for navy Admin?? The gold bullion thread is nicely done and it doesn't glow under UV? I realize the construction is not really the norm for Chevrons of the period in the German armed forces but any help would be greatly appreciated.
