Hello friends ! I hope someone can give me some information on this these shoes. They look very much like the kind of short-shoes German Kriegsmarine officers had that they bought privately. They have unfortunately postwar rubber heel (picture 6), would it be wise of me to remove it to see if there is any markings under the heel? These shoes have some differences from the ones I've seen before and my main question is if it can be confirmed or disproved that this is the type of officer shoes i think it is ?
I have found markings on the inside of one shoe (picture 7), unfortunately it is difficult to read, but I think it says "E 802 and 0 or 4" at the end. Could this be typical markings if there are Kriegsmarine shoes from WW2?
Appreciate all the help you can give me.
