    Gold cap Eagles

I have not seen many gold Eagles like the 3 pronged one in the left of this photo, were they less common?

They are mainly for wear on marine tally caps and so on. Not rare, but just lesser seen and not to be confused with the heer eagles of the same that had a silver wash. Some say these golden ones were also for general caps - the pin type.

Not for the tally caps ( they are smaller ) but for the summer Schirmmütze .

Thanks for the help. I bought the eagle on the left for $50 which is more than I would usually spend on a cap eagle but I don't see the gold KM Eagles without the pin very often with al 3 prongs present, so hopefully I didn't over pay too much, does anyone have a photo of a cap with this type of eagle?

50 USD is a very fair price for a KM eagle ...

              That's what I was thinking.
