U-89 Cyphers? Shoulder Board Insignia?

I purchased a lot that had these pieces in it. However I could not find any info. The pair with the prongs seems to be for shoulder boards or collar? And the pair without possibly for a photo album? Both pairs have U-89 embossed on them.
