    Uniform Identification - Kriegsmarine?

Along with some other items, I bought this tunic from an old collection. My question is, "What is it?" I was unable to find an example in any reference book or on the Internet. It has an Obergefreiter chevron on its left sleeve and at one time, it had a breast eagle. As you can see, the tunic has no pocket flaps, which I think is unique. The tunic was manufactured in 1943 and has the stamp BAW (Bekleidungsamt Wilhelmshaven, that is Wilhelmshaven Clothing Office) as well as size markings. What do I have here? has anyone seen such a tunic or own one? Thanks!

IMO the breast pocket on the right side has been replaced ...
              Pocket Flaps also .
It was a KM standard tropical jacket "adapted" as a 3 pockets working jacket and later restored ...
              When ? i think post war !
