    Kriegsmarine wooden deck

    Dear all,
I don't know where i should exactly post this thread, so eventually move it in the proper section.
I would like to know what was the installation scheme and the dimensions of the wooden plates on the German battleship desk.
What kind of wood was used?
Any sealing between the wooden plates?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Luca

You might want to ask the question on the model building forum here on WAF. They probably can answer that question.

Hi Luca. Teak. This is a genuine deck plank from Tirpitz.

Hi Luca, you have exceeded your stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until you clear some space. To answer your question, this plank has been split and cut, but the thickness is most likely the original: 5 cm.

        Regards, Loke
