Not for me. Look how the piping is joined towards the rear; that's not how it's done on an authentic cap.

The cocade is the enlisted man type and very heavily worn compared to the rest of the cap ...
Please post pictures of the interior, any markings there?

              Bob,
on this cap the piping is joint at the side.

But is your statement set ? I do have an overseas cap, nicely marked Franz Ritter, on which the piping joins at the rear side....and I do believe that this cap I have is an original.

Nevertheless, on this cap shown here is messed with. The insignia mix is unusual as well as I do not like the badges on the side at all.

              Regards
              Christian

Plenty of original examples with the piping applied (inter-joined) in this manner. Can't comment on the originality of the cap but not too crazy about it at this point.

Now and then Officers' piping joining on the rear side can be noticed on unquestionable caps.
Officers' caps do display EM/NCOs' insignia more often than not, but a mix of an EM/NCOs' bullseye with a bullion Officers' eagle is weird. And the wear of the bullseye doesn't match the wear of the eagle. I suspect the latter has been re-applied postwar.
I 'm not too happy ith the unit insignia, it should be inspected further.
I'd rather wait for an unblemished specimen, eventually.

Nice cap with cello piping .the piping side attachment is not a big deal .
Nice eagle ...but the badges are IMO recently reapplied .
Only the cockade is original on it and you can see that easily !
