Kriegsmarine Feldgendarmerie Gorget.

The first time I see this one, was for more than 30 years ago.
It came from a naval base in Stavern, an Norwegian small town 2 hours South of Oslo. It has always been like this and at one time the eagle was changed to a Kriegsmarine eagle in brass.

Have any of you seen this has been done before ?

I have never heard about a Kriegsmarine dedicated "Feldgendamerie" .
My knowledge is that the Heer Feldgendamerie was responsible also for the KM as the size of the KM was not large enough to have their own.

Same was for the Luftwaffe in the early war years. Only later as the LW was growing bigger it had their own FG.

I am very interesting to see other members opinions on this gorget.

Yes that is correct.
And the eagle is change from the normal "Wehrmacht" one, to this one in brass for the Kriegsmarine.
I belive this has been done by the new Kriegsmarine owner during the war.
I would like to hear if there are others like this existing out there.
