Well, as an novice collector when it comes to tunics, I must say I like what I am seeing. The Eagle with the upper wings having that extra braiding is a bit peculiar. However, majority of tunics out there have had their eagles replaced. I think this is a fine piece though. Great construction.

I really like that they added the metal thread over the wings to make it an officer eagle. Maybe they did not had a officer eagle at hand out there in the field and this would do the trick.
