    Pillowcase Panzerschiff Admiral Scheer

    Greetings,
I just purchased this and I am very happy to add it to my collection.
I am very curious to see in hand how the flag overlay is done.
    Here are the preliminary pictures.

    Thanks for looking.

    Regards,
    JustinG

    Nice pillow !
If you had the the chance to remove the overlay without destroying the flag underneath, would you do it ?

    I thnik I would.

    Regards
    Christian

      AIt's a really nice pillow.
I would also try to remove the flag, but only if it does not destroy the flag underneath.

      Best regards,
      André

Thanks, I will have to see how it is attached. Probably best to turn inside out to see how the stitching in the reverse of the RKF is to see if it is best to remove the imperial flag or leave as is.

        Thanks for the comments.

        Regards,
        JustinG

Because it is metal pin you will be able to easily remove it.

          Regards,

Wow, I didn't even notice that. Good eyes! Looking forward to seeing if the RKF is intact or was destroyed.
            Thanks again.

I would leave it on, it is interesting. Or, slip it out and slip it in over to the side.

I really like these pillowcases. Here are some of mine.

                  Last one.

I really like this relatively untouched collecting area of the KM hobby.

Really great pillowcases there John. Quite nice. I have never seen a Zerstörer version; just incredible. I am thinking of having this one framed. I will have to see if the seller sends me the pillowcase with the stick pin. The photo obviously showed a pin in the picture and it was used to cover the swastika; however, there was nothing in the listing that stated that the pin was not part of the sale. I guess I will have to wait and see what I've bought.

Very envious, a great collection there JohnR!

Well, I would not worry about the pin, if it comes, fine, if not, that is fine too.

Depending on your display room, you could always make it a pillow again if it has both sides Some still do, others only one side. John

                          Very nice all..

John, is your zerstörer pillowcase painted or stitched? It is quite detailed and impressive.

                          Richard:
Could you show yours and how you have it displayed please?

                          Best Regards,
                          JustinG

I just have it framed and hung on the wall with a number of other Karlsruhe pictures.
