    Coastal artillery overseas cap - original?

    I need some opinions about these one coastal artillery overseas cap:
    Insignia was originally stitched?

        This one has been showed here before. Nice original one, typical re-sized French made side cap

          Here is another one from the same french maker (SOGECO-Société Générale de Confection)-city of Nantes, french Atlantic coast :

          As previously said, the cap has been enlarged by another french maker in Paris (Société Chapelière Parisienne) because it was to small for a soldier's head (sabotage !).

              Very interesting point ! Up to now these re-sized caps were often considered as enlarged "sabotage productions". But considering the link, it was perhaps just classic re-working in France for too small caps !
              Anyway, thanks for this topic.

                One more question.
                Is yellow V designation original, and it is original stitched on cap?

                  They were both, impo sabotaged then re-sized. And by these pics the soutashe is untouched/correct.
