I'm with Edoardo! All wrong, but mostly on a BD used by submarine crew wouldn't have been any BAK (Bekleidungs Amt Kiel) marking, put only on the issue garment!

If im not mistaken thats a late war British denim battle dress, un-pleated pockets, i thought if they did wear them they were the early issued stock found in France, perhaps the brownish shade of material

Yes, it was early war, mostly captured in france as you say.
