Strange pockets and administration service silver buttons punched through the cloth?
Golden buttons with NCO straps don't go together with that...

I wouldn't say the buttons are administrative ones, as gilding can fade completely, but the tunic itself is not kriegsmarine one, that's sure.

            Not for my collection

              More pictures

Button holes for button loops actually have button hole stitches around the hole. Hard to see but there. Button were originally gold that has nearly faded away. Added a few more pictures. Bottom pockets are definitely odd. Any thoughts on what this may have been?

Ok so holes for removable buttons after all...still a very strange non KM style with those pockets...the buttons to me still look like standard glass KM button in verwaltungs
(admin) silver with edges worn away, which now appear more gold but it's the glass that's doing that. Not guilded seafaring buttons which explains why could explain
why the shanks are also silver...(but that's not always the case)
