postwar Carl Isken Kriegsmarine EM/NCO visor

Hello all,

I believe this one is a humped up Bundesmarine cap and wanted to share with you. My question is if the eagle is authentic as the beak is strange to me.

For reference, these two labels are POSTWAR for Carl Isken.

and here are two WARTIME labels from this maker. Note, Carl Isken did NOT produce caps for the Wehrmacht during the war, only Civl caps, i.e. Customs, Reichsbahn, paramilitary, etc.

another thing that shows the original cap posted is a postwar Bundesmarine cap is the fact that there is no "mohair style" band sewn behind the wreath, it is just bare wool. All authentic Kriegsmarine NCO caps have this band with the insignia sewn on AFTER and ontop of the band.

and I'm sure you already know, authentic KM visor buttons have a rope pattern around the anchor where a postwar Handelsmarine will not.
