Junghans KM 8 day clock

Hi. Can someone help me out on this clock. I have no idea on this one as it is not the typical KM ship clock you see. Is this an original WW2 KM clock? Marked inside Junghans J30E. It is a wind up, no key, 8 day clock. Obviously the eagle M markings are a bit different as this is a very small size clock, the face is only 3 1/2 inches in diameter. I know they make fakes, is this one? It has been in a collection for many years, at least 30. If original, would you know what type of ship it came from?

After I posted I was looking through some of my reference books and I found what I think is the same clock on page 205 of the Schiffer book on the Kriegsmarine by Berrafatto & Berrafato where they state it is a clock from small ships, including u-boat. Sound correct I assume? Any idea on value?

Does anyone have any idea on the value of these small clocks? I know what the larger size sell for, are these more or less valuable? I don't recall ever seeing this type offered for sale.

Hi,
I can not judge on if they are more or less common, but they are selling far lower in price than the large clocks. Maybe because of size....
I bought mine for 300 Euro.
