Personally, here's my favorite KM eagle in this group.

I also believe the one you picked out is authentic as well but it looks like one of the cotton thread variety with highlights and not cellion like the one above that I prefer. I posted both types here:

I would not use this bird on an original KM tunic.
I saw a lot of fakes with the same character and type.
