    KM Microscope

    Hi,
here one of my latest aquisitions.
A KM microscope in its original transport box.
All lenses are marked with a KM stamp

Based on the Zeiss archive, this serial number was delivered Sept. 1939 to the KM medical depot in Wilhelmshaven.
Zeiss do not have any information about how much they have produced for the KM, but based on the number of serving members in the KM I do not think that there are so many.

What is nice too that it is fully functional and still have bright optics..so my daughter enjoyed to look at ants...

    Regards
    Christian

Christian, your daughter needs to look through the scope with her eye, it does not usually work with an ear. But, she is probably showing off her cute face for the photographer!!!!

Heh, heh. We know what is going on, you are telling her she has natural gifts as a scientist so she will go to Medical School and support you in your old age.

                      Upon request..

Upon request by PM of a fellow collector, here close-ups of the eagles on microscope and the lenses.
There is no doubt about this marking to be genuine as I send photos to the Zeiss archive and they confirmed that as well as delivery date to the KM on 29.11.1939 based on the serial number.
                      Regards
