                        I'm wondering if German made but retailed by Chappeau Parisienne. I do know they made their own style cap too. Usually seen with a different cut and goldish silk liner. I have seen other HPC caps but I don't think they necessarily had the French stamp in conjunction....only a thought. Nice trikot fabric used but note the lack of under visor stitching.

                          the rivets in the posted cap do look more German in essence. For reference, here's the gold liner style you refer to:

                          Note the different style of cap altogether and the fact that my hat didn't sport a machine-sewn eagle.
