        Very interesting. So the Penguin was also the emblem for S-55, an S-30 type boat in the 3. Schnellbootflottille. But it seems in this case the penguin has no backdrop whereas for the 7. Vorpostenflottille it's portrayed on a shield like the badge discussed in this thread.

                    Another example of the tradition badge, from a small collection said to come from a crew member of VP729 even though it's the same photo that Ben showed in post #21 as being from VP722.
