Hello. Quite a few years ago I read about a table that was made as a gift for Grossadmiral Doenitz. The top of the table was supposed to be made of small tiles or squares each of which showed a different U-boat insignia. Anyone else ever heard of this table? Thank you for any replies.

One of the three tables that were in the villa Kernevel in Lorient.
Only one is still there.

This table is in the villa Kernevel, it's the house of the French navy admiral for the area of Lorient.
Pics from the two other tables, IMO, they are somewhere in the French Navy museum in Lorient or Paris.
