Hi Didier,

That's interesting. I've never seen that symbol before (but I don't study this area). The badge on the cap you posted seems different from the separate badge you posted. The orange transparent "enamel" that Andjelo commented on in the other thread does seem odd doesn't it?

But I guess the main question was whether the symbol existed in wartime, and not whether or not that particular example was wartime vs. post-war. Another question is whether it existed for the Dutch Navy before possibly being adopted by the 38. Minensuchflottille?

another one on eBay just finished.
It looks good, with great details, especially under the orange clear enamel,
so I guess it's a kind of a hoard find, or??
