Kriegmarine Eagle Help Please!

Hi everyone,

I purchased this years ago as an original, but then just stashed it away. Sadly, I have no clue on uniform eagles, especially whether they are original or not.

So I have 2 questions please; is it original, and if original, would it have been a cap or breast eagle?

Hello John,

What you have is a private purchased KM gold on blue enlisted mans breast eagle. Embroidered eagles are always contentious. I like this pattern of eagle and believe they are original.
