KM marking?

Hi guys, can you please give me some more information about this marking, it's found on the back side of a ship lantern. Is it a Kriegsmarine marking, why there is no eagle, anything about it? Thanks!

Yes this is a real Km mark which you will find on many Km lanterns

Correct KM marking indeed, also found on other items. Who knows why the Kriegsmarine used this version of the acceptance stamp and not the regular one with the eagle?

Yes indeed you will find these markings on other equipment as well but the few lanterns that i saw had all the same marks but that's based on the few lanterns (12 specimens) that i saw in the past so,........

Dimitri D: you said that the cross/M are early markings, where did you find this information, do you have any documentation about the timings of their use?
