Maybe it has to do with the destroyer - Z 5 "Paul Jacobi"?

I have seen some post war Bundesmarine plaques for these Zerstorer Flottille insignia. I will try to search through my database to find. My Vote is that it is post WW2 though.

Thanks Justin, but a vote is not good enough, I look forward to any documented proofs. I have found the Bundesmarine coat of arms for Destroyer 5, looks similiar but colours are quiet different! Any further help appreciated! Joe
