What do you think about this Plath compass?



Previous owner dropped it and broke the glass dome (diameter of dome = 180mm)

It has the gothic "M" but no eagle

Thanks, I thought so - the upper part, though it fits perfectly, seems "out of place".

While we are at it, were Plath compasses at this time alcohol- or oil filled?
