    Dears,
attached pictures of an officers overseas cap I have reserved from a dealer.
Your opinion on this is highly appreciated.
    Thanks

Looks like everything was sewn on at the same time (and poorly)....eagle, cockade, & "Sawfish".... you don't show a good view of the officers piping but very none-typical.... (if EM upgrade, why replace the eagle) and how come "no wear"....????

I wouldn't trust it "as shown" without provenance...(your "Grandpa's" cap or he brought it home!)... and I would doubly doubt a cap with a U-Boat emblem (or any such...) applied...."think about it"...., just my opinion, of course.

Personally....I would "UN-reserve" it and save my money! (IMHO) See what others might say...but don't wait too long!

I would also love to see some provenance, or I would at least like to have it in hand to judge by my knowledge and not by these photos.
I am sure dealers can, if they want, make decent photos and here that's no the case.

Is the piping sewn together on the left side?
Is there any mark of different color under the sawfish?

Personally, I would pass this one.

You have to decide for yourself and we know that's the most difficult part ;-).
