KM coat on eStand - strange piece

    Hi!

    Let''s discuss this piece:
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=698885

I really like the material (as much as I can see from the photos) and sleeve liner.

The style is nowhere near KM, and I also do not know what to say about collar backing with "too many" zig-zags.

    Here are the photos:

I can agree with the sleeve lining material and pattern for sure as used on period KM clothing and some deck jackets.

            Hi there!

Has a label of the Bundeswehr, and is produced presumably in November 1958 (11 58 reads in the marking second row)...

            Best,

              Correct, German Bundesmarine.
Has the 13 digit NATO stock number, starting with 3405 followed by county code "12" for Germany.
Marked as "sold" now on E-Stand.
              Regards
              Christian

Thanks guys, just what I thought.

The seller previously replied to me like this:
"Maybe it is "really unusual" for you, but many period photos shows variety style KM coat. However this coat's material is very typical KM fine wool, very typical 'pysama" striped silk in sleeves and of course all buttons factory sewn KM large coat-buttons."

                ...after I wrote:
"What kind of KM coat is the one you are selling?
It does not look like any of the regulation pieces, it's not frock coat...

Maybe you could put it for a review in a separate thread for discussion as it's really unusual."
