    Oil Painting of Kriegsmarine

    There is a very nice thread recently of other branches.

    Would like to display a KM portrait and see others please. Thanks for viewing and sharing.

        Need to decide what setting is best (sun or living room)?

        My wife admires it but believes a bit eccentric having a portrait of an unknown person, so probably off to the war room better yet.

                Keep it away from direct sun light as it will fade the pigments.

                  If we dedicate this thread to KM paintings it might be a short one. But here is one that was linked in "Interesting Paintings" thread in the collector community forum. This belongs to a large group of portraits captured by the US government and held in archive apparently.

                              Andrew; will be keeping this out of the sun light for sure.

                              Adam; thanks for keeping this thread in balance with the additional oil paintings. They are magnificent. I agree the KM is a bit under rated.
