Mess dress

Found two officers with that last name, both were German cross in gold winners . Is the mess dress to a line officer? Might help in determining which man it belonged to.

Thanks guys for the info.I'm in the process of getting the outfit up on a mannequin now.Will send more pictures when completed.His rank on the mess dress is OLT.Z.S. & a line officer.I been doing a little research too.I think this is Hans-Jurgen Weissenborn outfit.He got the DKIG on 19/1/43.Anyone have any thing else to add please do.I also got his vest.

If hans- Juergen , he was born. 26-4-1917. In Kiel , class of 1937
Cdr R-33 in 1941 also cdr. Of R 194. And you already know about the German cross.
