These optics are available in a local auction house but I know know nothing about them. Are they any good?

Yep it's a original Leitz Km binocular the right side has been repainted but if the price is ok catch it

indeed , right cover plate repainted, eagle with M can be spotted

The paint may easily come off with acetone to reveal the Eagle, good luck.
