800 marked ring, does it have any chance of being original. Thanks for your time and any opinions. Photos are not the best. Ralph

This is a minefield now in rings, and IMHO I wouldn't touch any of them without provenance. So I never take luft, sub, and many other rings seriously that have all at once popped up to fill demand of the militaria market all of a sudden ,never seen previously, of all kinds of badges on rings. BUT....If you collect sub stuff, and wanna wear it to trip your own trigger for a conversation starter(if it fits), then buy it to wear , but it would have to be real cheap . Good luck. -
Good advice given.
I would strongly advise against ever wearing anything with the swastika still intact. There will be no defense if a customer, boss, co-worker sees this and your collecting days will be over as you will no longer be employed and possibly blackballed from a particular industry or at least surrounding area where you work.
Just some words of advice, I am sure we are all aware of this. I just felt the need to state again.

Thanks guys, I got this ring from a little old lady many years ago, as a gift, her husband had passed away and she had no use for it. You are so right I do not need to give this hobby or me a bad name as far as ever wearing anything from this period. Just like SS rings, there neat but I have no use for them.
