I saw this one on ebay too. Bad nametag to upgrade the jacket. rank stars and buttons are later added.

I know the nametag is not in accordance with known wartime originals, of course.

The price was OK for me, and I decided to go as I think the jacket is original, but as you wrote upgraded with buttons and rank insignia.

Also, I think upgraded with the loops, I never saw such loops on original WW2 Km jacket.

As I was looking for a striped reefer jacket, I am satisfied with the one I won.
I have full set of WW2 Croatian insignia and need a reefer to put all insignia on it (would like to have such item in my collection, and it's impossible to find Croatian naval WW2 jacket).

The one you show has a strange distance between two rank stripes, but looks good, really.

I will wait for my first German KM reefer. I passed some on auctions, but will find some later, I'm sure.
