Schwerin KM breast eagle

Hi guys, I have been looking for one of these for a good while and it landed today. An aluminium Schwerin breast eagle, it is unbelievably light as you would expect, you can just see the silver where it has rubbed in slight areas. The detailing on the Adler is amazing and the colour is pure gold.
Any comments or observations are welcome

Very nice gold Schwerin summer uniform eagle Greg. Certainly not a common variant but the silver version is even more elusive IMO

Hope you have better luck than I'm having finding one and, moreso that you dont get hooked like I did... I now have about 30 different variants of these of which only 10 are matched sets (gold/silver) and the rest are all lonely singles still calling for their mates and the sqwaking can be deafening at times

For the same reason I knew there were silver equivalents to both Maedicke anodized aluminum gold birds variants long before I found them... I've had a picture of a silver Schwerin in my archives for quite a while now
