      Stian,

That is a very nice tunic in a very good condition.

Not that hard to find an eagle for it, eagle on it - and perfect.

Thank you for showing your tunic.

      Best regards

      Eric-Jan

            Hello Stian,

            Nice CA tunic.

You should have restored your tunic with a CA eagle of German manufacturing, and not the French version.

Thank you. And I guess you are right Dimitri. But it was what I found first and I thought it was a nice looking eagle. But I will be on the lookout for a German one if I can find a nice used one.

              Cheers,
              Stian

                  Hello Dimitri,
Good choice but i think this eagle is made for a cap not for a tunic it would look silly

                          Hello,

Very nice tunic and great restoration. I love the embroidered eagle and if you are going to replace it with a BeVo eagle I would replace it with one on fieldgrey material. That is just my preference.

I really like the application of the collar tabs!!

While maybe not the original textbook eagle..I think you eagle was a good choice as it requires less work and handiness to appear original and has good eye appeal...JMHO Billbert

                                Thank you all :-)

Personally I think it looks very nice. What tunics where the French eagle used/made for?

                                Regards,
