    KM Bootmansmaat jacket

    Hi all,

This is the jacket of a Bootmansmaat.
I expected an anchor on his arm. Or am I wrong?

    Is this uniform complete?

Frank you are right, the career metalic badge is missing, it has to be just above the specialist badges

Totally agree. That is why I didn't buy it.

Indeed, the metallic career badge is missing. As you look carefully you can see the outlines where it once was. I have attached some photo's of my bootmansmaat jacket which have the metallic career badge.

Sadly the jacket has been shortened something which was fashionable in those days

I kinda like that, as well as all other personalized items.

That's something that was often used, and my opinion is that when it's on mannuequin it just looks a bit better if it's shortened.

                Hi all,

                Thanks for the replies.
What kind of rank badge should be on the sleeve of that uniform. He was a chief of a light AA gun.

                  Hi Guys,

I like the shortened style too and it wouldn't be difficuilt to reapply the Rank Badge...

This would look killer on a mannequin!!

                  A nice Colani

I agree that it is a nice colani and that it would look nice on display but it is advertised as "untouched". When items have been removed from a jacket it is not "untouched" and that should be reflected in the asking price. I am not trying to start an arguement or be disrespectful towards the seller, it is just my opinion as a potential buyer.
